JBF HELPERS ROCK!

Just Between Friends is run by over 100 helpers and simply put, we love and need YOU! For this reason, we reward our helpers.

Sign up to help and you'll shop before the crowd and consignors. That's right, you'll have access to the best merchandise and best deals before the event opens to the public. You'll also earn 65-70% of your sales as a consignor!

If you help at least 4 hours you earn 65% profit.  If you volunteer at least 8 hours you earn 70% profit on your consigned items. Our Team Leaders earn 80% profit of their sales...see complete details below.

You can help with everything from event set up, inspection, organizing merchandise, running the point of sale system and breaking down the event.

The more shifts you sign up for the earlier you shop the presale on Thursday, April 11th AND the 50% off presale on Saturday, April 13th.

Shifts are available in 4, and 8 hour increments.  The longer you volunteer, the more you earn and the earlier you get to shop! The earlier you shop, the more merchandise and bargains to be had!

Pregnant or have health limitations?

Many of the tasks can be done sitting down, so nearly everyone is able to join the fun! And, by the way, if you're not able to make it we'll happily welcome your husband, brother, father (trust us, we could really use some MUSCLE!) or mother as a volunteer, and you'll still get the credit! Or volunteer together and earn double the credits!

WANT TO JOIN US?

Select Volunteer when you SIGN UP for the event. After February 1st the Volunteer Schedule will pop up with all the available choices for you to consider.

The Volunteer Schedule will close on Sunday, April 7th at 4pm.

WHAT TO EXPECT & BRING


General:

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your shift for orientation.
  • If you have a conflict after the volunteer schedule closes on line, please call or email Jill

What to Bring & Wear:

  • We do have some snacks and drinks available in our break area. If you have specific likes/dislikes, please feel free to bring your own refreshments.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Presale Passes:

  • Volunteers will receive their Presale Pass + 1 friend pass at Consignor Drop Off or their name will be on a list at the entrance at the time presale entry time.

Bonus Shifts:

  • Bonus Shifts are worth more! Check out our double credit shifts for times that are considered critical to the success of the event. These double credit shifts mean a 4 hour shift = 8 hours for your presale admission time!
 

WHEN CAN I SHOP?

Thursday, April 11th

No children, wagons or strollers during the presale until the Family Shop time after 6:30pm

  • 10:00am - Team Leaders
  • 11:00am - 8 Hour Volunteers
  • 12:00pm - Set Up, Sorting & Breakdown Team Members
  • 12:30pm - Drop Off, Inspection & Event Team Members
  • 1:30pm - Consignors Donating
  • 2:00pm - Consignors Picking Up + 1 Friend for Volunteers & Consignors
  • 4:00pm - Prime Time Shopping ($10 Admission)
  • 5:00pm - Registered Teachers & Military Families - $2 Entry Fee
  • 5:30pm - Registered First Time Parents, Grandparents, Foster/Adoptive Parents - $2 Entry Fee
  • 6:30pm - Family Shop Time - All consignors, volunteers & registered guests can bring children & strollers at this time.

Saturday, April 13th

Volunteers, consignors and their guests shop the 50% Off presale on Saturday night too!  Whoohoo!

MOST COMMON QUESTIONS:

Q: Can I bring a guest to the Presale?

A: Each Volunteer and Consignor will receive a pass for one guest. All guests are invited to enter the presale at 2pm. You may also spilt your volunteer credits to allow earlier entry for a friend (you work 8 hours and earn (2) 4 hour passes.

Q: Can I bring my child(ren) with me when volunteer?

A: Unfortunately, this is not permitted for the safety of your child and the need give our full attention to our customers.
