Why JBF?

I think JBF just makes sense! Plus, JBF is a fun way to meet other moms in the area! I had been searching for a business that really resonated with me as a person. It had to agree with my morals, my family life and be something that I could feel passionate about. When I went to my first JBF sale the business model really intrigued me. I loved the fact that moms could earn money, I could get good deals and the rest was given to a charity. I wanted a business in which I could have daily flexibility in order for me to still be the main care provider for my children. When I looked into JBF further it fit all of my criteria.

My Family:

I am Morgan, Reese and Gage's mom. They are the greatest joy and cause the greatest chaos in my life! I have been married to my husband Ken for 12 years...he is my favorite man and #1 fan & worker of JBF Folsom! I also have wonderful family support including my brother, mom and cousins.

My Goals:

That all of Folsom, Granite Bay, Rancho Cordova, Mather and El Dorado Hills families will benefit from the two seasonal JBF Folsom Sales Events by giving thousands of families a place to budget shop so they can provide what they need for their families
Having hundreds of families recycling their gently used kid items
Helping our under privileged community with all of the unsold donated items
Helping moms get their closets cleaned out and putting some CASH in their pockets

Proud JBF Moment...

JBF Folsom won the "Best First Spring Sale" of 2010. We had 165 consignors and over 50 volunteers! Folsom has the best JBFers ever!

My Life before JBF:
My background is in health and small business. I graduated from Westmont College with a bachelors in Kinesiology. I graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College-West with a doctorate in Chiropractic. I practiced in Folsom as a chiropractor for 5 years. I sold my practice just before my second daughter was born to have more family life. My husband and I have had four businesses over the last 12 years. They have ranged from real estate to retail coffee to chiropractic. Each business has been a great learning experience for me. The best lesson I have learned is about family life balance.
